Sziget Festival kicks off with Zara Larsson and Korda-Balázs performances

The Sziget Festival in Budapest has commenced with several notable musical performances. Swedish pop singer Zara Larsson headlined the main stage, where she broke tradition by inviting two fans to join her during the performance of ‘Lush Life’.

On the festival's zero day, the legendary musical duo György Korda and Klári Balázs performed to a large crowd. The performers expressed deep emotion regarding the reception from the audience, noting that the experience was particularly meaningful after a four-year hiatus. Korda remarked on the strength provided by the audience's recognition of their long careers.

Other highlights from the opening days included performances by Sombr and the Recirquel rave-circus in the theater tent.
