Sziget Festival presents SZuper SZociety awards for youth mental health
The SZuper SZociety awards were presented at the Sziget Festival to recognize professionals and initiatives dedicated to youth mental health. The awards, established by the SZociety Movement, aim to highlight authentic and innovative efforts to combat issues such as anxiety, depression, and burnout caused by digital pressure and social isolation.
Key recipients included the Kompánia Foundation, which won the ‘Bázis Award’ for its project focusing on providing secure relationships for disadvantaged children in the southern Budapest region. The Kék Vonal Children's Crisis Foundation received the ‘Horizont Award’ for its national helpline service, which provides free, anonymous, and 24/7 support for children and young people in crisis.
