Szigligeti Theatre announces 2026/27 season subscriptions

The Szigligeti Theatre in Oradea has announced its subscription offerings for the 2026/27 season. The upcoming program features a diverse range of genres, including classical and contemporary plays, musical productions, large-scale stage works, studio productions, and dance and puppet performances.

To accommodate audiences traveling from nearby regions such as Debrecen, several subscription series have been scheduled for weekends and afternoon slots. Specifically, the Tanay Emil subscription features performances on Saturdays at 5:00 PM, while the Bessenyei György subscription includes Sunday performances at 5:00 PM. The season will also include a guest performance by the Csokonai National Theatre from Debrecen, presenting the musical ‘The Jungle Book’.

The season is set to begin with an outdoor opening event on August 28, featuring music, dance, and previews of upcoming productions.
