Szymon Hołownia considers reclaiming leadership of Polska 2050

Szymon Hołownia, the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, has indicated he is prepared to consider reclaiming leadership of the Polska 2050 parliamentary club if there is a unanimous decision from his colleagues. This potential move comes amid internal tensions within the party and the broader governing coalition.

Some coalition members suggest that Hołownia’s return to a primary leadership role could provide greater stability, contrasting his potential impact with the perceived disruptive actions of Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz toward government members. Hołownia emphasized the need for the party to demonstrate unity and overcome existing divisions, noting that the window for such a decision may be narrow, potentially as early as the Sejm sessions scheduled for September 2–4.

The current leadership of the club is held by Paweł Śliz, and any shift in power would depend on whether the party members decide to replace him.
