Szymon Hołownia faces three potential political scenarios

Szymon Hołownia, the current Deputy Marshal of the Sejm, is facing three potential political scenarios as discussions regarding his role in the Polish government continue.

One scenario involves Hołownia joining the government as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Włodzimierz Czarzasty, leader of Nowa Lewica, has confirmed that this offer has been on the table for approximately two and a half years, though Hołownia previously declined it.

A second possibility involves rebuilding cooperation between Polska 2050 and the Polish People's Party (PSL) for the 2027 parliamentary elections. This could lead to a revival of the ‘Third Way’ project, though internal leadership challenges remain, as current Polska 2050 leader Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is not expected to step down.

A third scenario suggests a potential collaboration with Mateusz Morawiecki and his association, Rozwój Plus. However, political circles close to Hołownia have expressed skepticism regarding a partnership with the former PiS Prime Minister's environment.
