Szymon Kołecki rejects KSW offer amid criticism of promotion

Szymon Kołecki, a former Olympic weightlifting champion and current Babilon MMA double champion, has criticized recent negotiation attempts by the KSW fighting organization. Kołecki stated that while he does not rule out a return to the promotion, he rejected a recent offer that he deemed unsatisfactory and not reflective of his value.

Kołecki expressed frustration with how modern fighting federations prioritize social media popularity over athletic merit. He emphasized that he is unwilling to act as a media “clown” simply to increase his marketing value. He noted that his previous discussions with KSW ended quickly after he presented his own terms following an initial low offer.
