T-Cino Bioscience reports Phase 1 results for lung cancer drug TXN10128
T-Cino Bioscience has released Phase 1 clinical trial results for its oral ENPP1 inhibitor, TXN10128, at the IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC 2026). The study focused on patients with EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who had previously failed third-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy and platinum-based chemotherapy.
In a cohort of nine evaluable patients receiving a combination of TXN10128 and irinotecan, the objective response rate (ORR) was 44.4%, with a disease control rate (DCR) of 100%. The median progression-free survival (mPFS) was 6.7 months. Among the 19 total participants, 77.8% showed a reduction in tumor size.
Regarding safety, only one patient (5.3%) experienced a Grade 3 or higher treatment-related adverse event, and no new safety signals were observed compared to the existing safety profile of irinotecan. TXN10128 works by inhibiting the ENPP1 protein, which helps prevent cancer cells from evading the immune system.
Following approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for a Phase 2 study named ‘ENRISE’, T-Cino plans to begin patient enrollment in the fourth quarter of this year to further validate the efficacy and safety of the combination therapy.
