Tô Lâm directs implementation of Central Committee Resolution 4

General Secretary and President Tô Lâm directed the implementation of the 4th Central Committee Resolution of the XIV Party Congress during a national conference on October 16. The directive focuses on strengthening Party building, leadership methods, and cadre work to ensure political decisions translate into tangible economic competitiveness and improved living standards for citizens.

President Tô Lâm emphasized that officials should be evaluated based on actual task performance. He called for the timely replacement of incompetent personnel, stating that inadequate officials should be replaced without waiting for disciplinary violations to occur. He also urged leaders to take responsibility for stagnation and to address why correct policies sometimes result in slow implementation or underutilized resources.
