T-Mobile introduces T-Mix plans with customizable perks
T-Mobile has announced the launch of T-Mix, a new series of postpaid phone plans designed to replace its existing Experience plans. Scheduled to debut in early November, the T-Mix model allows customers to select from a variety of “Picks” to customize their service. These modular perks include video streaming services, gaming subscriptions, music, food delivery, and even device financing.
As part of this rollout, Microsoft has partnered with T-Mobile to include Xbox Game Pass as a selectable benefit. This marks the first time Xbox Game Pass has been offered as part of a wireless plan in the United States. Eligible customers will be able to choose between Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Premium, which provides access to games across consoles, PCs, and Smart TVs.
Other potential perks mentioned in the new scheme include Apple TV, Netflix, Hulu, DoorDash, and YouTube Premium. T-Mobile Chief Marketing Officer Allan Samson stated that the new structure aims to move away from the industry’s traditional “one-size-fits-all” approach, providing more flexibility for consumers to curate their own experiences.
