Global Esports wins VCT Pacific 2026 Stage 2 title

Global Esports secured the VCT Pacific 2026 Stage 2 championship after achieving a 3-2 reverse sweep against Nongshim RedForce in the grand final held in Busan, South Korea. Despite losing the first two maps on Sunset and Split, Global Esports won three consecutive maps on Abyss, Lotus, and Haven to claim the title.

South Korean player Go Kyung-won, known as UdoTan, was named the Finals MVP for his performance. The victory also secures a spot for Global Esports at the VALORANT Champions 2026 tournament in Shanghai. The roster features Filipino players Xavier ‘xavi8k’ Juan and Patrick ‘PatMen’ Mendoza, joining Adrian ‘invy’ Reyes of Paper Rex as representatives from the Philippines at the upcoming world championship.

Nongshim RedForce, co-owned by the South Korean food company Nongshim, had previously won the upper bracket final against Global Esports earlier in the playoffs but was unable to maintain their lead in the grand final series.
