T1 to host largest Riftbound tournament in South Korea

T1 has announced the ‘T1 Trials’, the largest single-event tournament for the card game Riftbound in South Korea to date. The event will feature 256 participants and is scheduled for November 1 and 8.

The qualifiers will take place on November 1 at the KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Ilsan, utilizing an eight-round Swiss-system format. The top 16 players will advance to the finals on November 8 at T1 Basecamp Gangnam to compete in a tournament-style bracket.

Prizes totaling 5 million won will be distributed among the top 64 players. The champion will receive approximately 1.3 million won worth of prizes, including a T1 Signature Box and various card packs.

This initiative is part of T1’s broader strategy to expand the Riftbound ecosystem by integrating offline venues, professional education through the T1 Esports Academy, and large-scale competitive events.
