T2C transport strike planned for school reopening in Clermont-Ferrand
Transport workers in Clermont-Ferrand, France, have issued a notice for a renewable strike starting September 1, coinciding with the start of the school year. The T2C inter-union group is protesting budgetary tensions and disagreements regarding the InspiRe network adjustments.
The CGT union has expressed concerns that long-term deficits could lead to a restructuring of T2C at the request of the SMTC-AC. Additionally, the union has criticized recent municipal decisions, such as the unilateral reopening of the Oradou street axis, which they claim puts further pressure on the budget and lacks proper consultation.
