T2C transport strike to disrupt Clermont-Ferrand services on September 1

A major strike is scheduled for September 1 in Clermont-Ferrand, affecting the T2C public transport network. An inter-union group including the CGT, UNSA, CFDT, and CFE-CGC has called for mobilization to protest potential future budget cuts that could impact wages and working conditions.

The strike will cause significant disruptions, with total service stoppages on Tram Line A and high-level service bus lines B and C. Additionally, 11 other bus lines (E1, 2, 3, 4, 7, S10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15) will be out of service. Lines E5, E6, and all P lines are expected to operate normally. Because the movement is renewable, workers will decide on Tuesday morning whether to continue the strike.
