Ta Xua nominated for Asia's Leading Emerging Tourism Destination 2026

Ta Xua, a high-altitude destination in Son La province known as Vietnam's "cloud hunting paradise," has been nominated for the World Travel Awards (WTA) in the category of "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourism Destination 2026."

This marks the first time Ta Xua has appeared on the WTA nomination list. It is competing against several prominent Asian destinations, including Morioka in Japan, Koh Kood in Thailand, Melaka in Malaysia, Sumba Island in Indonesia, and Taipei.

Located at an altitude of over 1,500 meters above sea level, Ta Xua is recognized for its majestic mountain landscapes, cool climate, and dense seas of white clouds that appear among the valleys and slopes, particularly from November to March. The destination has also gained international recognition previously, being named by India's NDTV as one of 26 global destinations to visit in 2026.
