TA3 celebrates 25 years of news broadcasting

The Slovak news station TA3 is celebrating its 25th anniversary. To mark the milestone, the broadcaster will host a special program featuring retrospectives on key historical moments and interviews with staff members who have shaped the station's history.

TA3's first extraordinary broadcast occurred on September 11, 2001, covering the terrorist attacks in the United States prior to the station's official launch. General Manager Maroš Havran noted that the anniversary is a testament to the generations of journalists, technicians, and production staff who have built the brand. The special broadcast is scheduled for Friday, September 11, at 8:30, and will include a tribute to the station's first editor-in-chief, Zdeněk Šámal.
