Taafi Charity Association hosts global addiction forum in Dammam
The Taafi Charity Association, in collaboration with the Saudi Addiction Treatment Association, is hosting the Third Global Scientific Forum in Dammam. Held at the Sheraton Dammam Hotel, the two-day event focuses on the critical role of the family in the prevention, treatment, and recovery processes of addiction.
The forum features 29 experts and speakers from Saudi Arabia and six other nations, including the United Kingdom, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Greece, and Thailand. The program includes 10 hours of daily educational sessions, comprising specialized scientific sessions and six practical workshops.
Discussions will cover various dimensions of addiction, including psychological, social, legal, and media aspects. The forum also aims to explore the integration of technology and artificial intelligence in digital monitoring and treatment, while fostering international partnerships to develop evidence-based practices.
