TAAG and TACV reach agreement on Boeing 737 sale

TAAG Angola Airlines and TACV Cabo Verde Airlines have reached an agreement regarding the sale of a Boeing 737-700 to the Cape Verdean carrier. While the final price is still being determined, the two companies are aligned on the transaction, which is expected to be finalized by the end of the year.

TACV has been leasing the aircraft, registration D4-CCI, since 2022 at a monthly rate of $250,000. Over the course of the lease, TAAG is expected to have generated approximately $15 million in revenue. The sale will conclude a four-year leasing arrangement and is part of TAAG's broader strategy to adjust its fleet composition in preparation for new equipment.
