Actress Taapsee Pannu has urged the media to stop asking about her long-standing public feud with Kangana Ranaut. During a press event for her upcoming film, Gandhari, Pannu expressed frustration with reporters, stating that the issue would end if the media stopped revisiting it. The tension between the two actresses stems from a 2019 dispute involving comments made by Ranaut’s sister, which escalated into broader disagreements regarding nepotism and industry dynamics.

Simultaneously, the trailer for Pannu’s new Netflix action-thriller, Gandhari, has been released. Directed by Devashish Makhija and produced by Kanika Dhillon, the film follows a mother named Bani on a desperate search for her abducted daughter in the mysterious town of Joypurra. The ensemble cast includes Ishwak Singh, Jatin Sarna, Swastika Mukherjee, Mita Vashisht, and Chhaya Kadam. Pannu described the role as physically demanding but inspired by the character’s resilience.

Pannu also recently commented on her career trajectory, noting that her success is closely tied to the rise of women-centric films in Bollywood, as she has primarily been offered challenging, non-conventional roles rather than traditional heroine parts.
