Taapsee Pannu stars in new Netflix thriller ‘Gandhari’

Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming high-voltage action crime thriller ‘Gandhari’, starring Taapsee Pannu. Directed by Devashish Makhija and written and produced by Kanika Dhillon under the Katha Pictures banner, the film follows the emotional and physical struggle of a blind mother searching for her daughter.

The plot centers on a turning point where the protagonist's young daughter is kidnapped from a train. Despite her physical limitations, the mother transforms her vulnerability into strength to track down her child. The trailer highlights a mysterious villain and dark twists within the suspenseful narrative.

The film features an ensemble cast including Ishwak Singh, Swastika Mukherjee, Chhaya Kadam, Jatin Sarna, and Meeta Vashisht. ‘Gandhari’ is scheduled for a digital premiere on Netflix on September 3, 2026.
