TABA-AmCham announces four strategic initiatives in Baku

The TABA-AmCham Eurasia Investment and Business Network Summit 2026 was held in Baku, focusing on strengthening economic ties between Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the United States. The summit, organized in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Baku and supported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, brought together diplomats, investors, and business leaders.

During the event, TABA-AmCham President Süleyman Ecevit Sanlı announced four strategic initiatives designed to enhance Eurasian connectivity: the Eurasia Supply Bridge, the Green and Digital Transformation Fund, the Turkic World Investment Corridor, and the Startup Bridge. These initiatives aim to foster cooperation in sectors including energy, defense, aviation, technology, logistics, finance, and tourism.

Sanlı emphasized the need to translate the historical and cultural bonds between Turkey and Azerbaijan into robust economic partnerships. He noted that Azerbaijan serves as a gateway for Turkey to the Caspian and Central Asian regions, while Turkey provides Azerbaijan access to Europe, Africa, and the Americas. The summit also set ambitious trade volume targets, including $15 billion for Turkey-Azerbaijan trade and $100 billion for Turkey-US trade.
