Taban Farda Petrochemical completes largest-ever IPO on Tehran Stock Exchange
The Tehran Stock Exchange has completed the initial public offering (IPO) of Taban Farda Petrochemical Group, which is being recognized as the largest IPO in the history of the Iranian capital market. The offering involved 6 billion shares, with the final price discovered at 1,280 Tomans per share. Approximately 1.99 million trading codes participated in the process, with each code allocated 3,697 shares.
In related industrial news, Tabriz Petrochemical Company has released its prospectus and is preparing to enter the capital market. As one of the country’s oldest polymer producers, the company aims to increase its production capacity from 870,000 tons to approximately 1.56 million tons per year through 11 development projects. The company is primarily owned by Tabriz Oil Refining (Shabriz), with ultimate control held by the Parsian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Development Group.
