Tabasco and San Luis Potosí governors name new heads of regional agencies

Governor Javier May Rodríguez of Tabasco officially appointed Ismael Cerecedo Vázquez as head of the State Coordination for Land Tenure Regularization (CERTT), Silvia Mercedes Pedrero López to lead the Institute for the Promotion of Handicrafts (IFAT), and William Aaron Cabrera Pascacio as director of the Villahermosa Central Market. He also named Martín Nieto Domínguez as chief of the State Public Defender Institute.

In San Luis Potosí, the state government, represented by Secretary‑General J. Guadalupe Torres Sánchez, installed Nadia Ochoa Limón as the new head of the State Civil Protection Coordination. The appointment has drawn criticism because Ochoa Limón’s résumé lists experience in marketing, communication and political roles, but no formal background in emergency management or disaster response.
