Tabasco elderly woman allegedly evicted by daughter
An elderly woman, Paulina García Chablé, has become the subject of public outcry in Tabasco, Mexico, after reports surfaced that she was allegedly evicted from her home by her own daughter.
Witnesses claim that following a family dispute, the woman was transported via public minibus (combi) along with her belongings. Passengers reported seeing her crying inconsolably during the journey. The woman, who is reportedly in delicate health, was allegedly instructed by her daughter to be dropped off at a specific community location.
Local residents and social media users are calling for the intervention of the System for Integral Family Development (DIF) and other relevant authorities to ensure the woman receives medical attention, protection, and safe housing.
