Tabasco Governor Javier May presents 2026 State Youth Awards

Tabasco Governor Javier May Rodríguez presented the 2026 State Youth Award to nine individuals between the ages of 12 and 29. The recipients were recognized across eight distinct categories for their contributions to the state and their communities.

Award categories included academic achievement, cultural strengthening, social commitment and human rights, environmental protection, entrepreneurship, disability and integration, science and technology, and political culture and democracy. Each winner received an economic stimulus of 15,000 pesos to support the continuity of their ongoing projects.

During the ceremony, Governor May emphasized the essential role of younger generations in driving structural changes and transforming their environment. He stated that the administration remains committed to reducing economic and social inequalities to ensure better opportunities for the youth.
