Taboola and Motorola partner to integrate DeeperDive AI into smartphones

Taboola has announced a strategic partnership with Motorola to integrate its DeeperDive generative AI answer engine into the lockscreens of select moto g series smartphones. This collaboration marks the first time a smartphone manufacturer has integrated this specific AI tool directly into a device's lockscreen.

Users will be able to ask questions regarding topics such as sports, entertainment, finance, travel, and politics directly from their lockscreens. The engine provides answers informed by content from trusted publishers, allowing users to explore related stories and deeper context.

The rollout is expected to occur in phases between 2026 and 2027. Targeted markets for this deployment include the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, and Argentina.
