Taboola to acquire Dianomi to expand finance advertising reach
Taboola has made an offer to acquire Dianomi, a London-based advertising technology company specializing in the finance and business sectors. The deal is valued at an upfront cash amount of £19 million (approximately $25.4 million), with the potential to reach £27 million ($36.1 million) if specific performance conditions are met.
Through this acquisition, Taboola aims to integrate Dianomi’s network into its own advertising platform, Realize. This move is intended to expand Taboola’s reach among premium publishers, including Reuters, CNN Business, The Wall Street Journal, and The Times. It also provides access to a large base of over 600 finance-focused advertisers, such as Bank of America, Charles Schwab, and Invesco.
The acquisition is expected to close before the end of 2026, subject to regulatory clearances and shareholder approval. The deal follows a period of challenges for Dianomi, which saw a slight revenue decline last year due to shifting publisher traffic patterns caused by AI-generated summaries and zero-click search results.
