Tac Thu Industrial Park approved in Ca Mau with 3,900 billion VND investment

The Ca Mau provincial government has approved the investment policy for the Tac Thu Industrial Park in Khanh An commune. The project, developed by the Vietnam Infrastructure Investment Group Joint Stock Company, covers approximately 345 hectares with a registered investment capital of over 3,900 billion VND. The park is slated to operate for a term of 70 years.

The industrial park is designed to leverage local strengths in marine economy, agriculture, and energy. Key target sectors include deep processing of agricultural and aquatic products, cold storage, logistics, energy, and high-tech manufacturing. The development aims to integrate local raw materials with an industrial ecosystem while maintaining environmental standards, allocating over 15% of the area to greenery and ecological corridors.

This project is part of a broader investment push in Ca Mau, which recently saw the approval of 19 projects totaling over 40,000 billion VND. The region's industrial growth is supported by existing energy infrastructure, such as the Ca Mau Gas-Electricity-Fertilizer cluster, and upcoming transport improvements like the Can Tho - Ca Mau expressway.
