Taco Bell 50k ultra-marathon requires eating at nine locations

The Taco Bell 50k, an ultra-marathon held in Denver, requires participants to run 50 kilometers while stopping at 10 different Taco Bell locations. To complete the race, runners must consume menu items from at least nine of the stops.

The event reportedly has a higher Did Not Finish (DNF) rate than the Leadville 100 Trail Race. Participants have described the experience as a significant physical, mental, and gastrointestinal challenge, with some runners noting difficulties such as running out of water or struggling with the food requirements during the long distance.

Following the event, discussions have emerged regarding similar concepts, including a proposed 30-mile fast food race in Missoula that would involve stops at various restaurant chains like McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King.
