Taco Bell to open first German restaurant in Cologne

Taco Bell is launching its first German restaurant in Cologne, scheduled to open on September 24 at Hohenzollernring 50. This opening marks the beginning of a long-term expansion strategy within the German market.

The brand plans to establish a presence in several major metropolitan areas, with additional locations already in development for Berlin and Stuttgart. The company identifies significant growth potential in North Rhine-Westphalia, Baden-Württemberg, and the Berlin metropolitan region.

The market entry is being executed through a multi-franchise model in partnership with FeelBetter Holding and the Schaal Group, leveraging their expertise in real estate, retail, and gastronomy. Ian Cranna, General Manager of Taco Bell Europe, noted that Cologne's vibrant food and nightlife scene makes it an ideal starting point for the brand's permanent establishment in Germany.
