Tactus Sonus Choir wins Gold Diploma at national competition
The Tactus Sonus Diocesan Choir, based in Świdnica, has earned a Gold Diploma at the national choral competition ‘Wrocław Miastem Muzyki’. This achievement marks a repeat success for the ensemble, which received the same distinction at the same festival last year.
In addition to the Gold Diploma, the jury awarded the choir a special prize for the most interesting performance of a work by a Polish composer. Led by artistic director Marta Moneta-Napierała, the choir has been active since 2018 and performs at the Cathedral of St. Stanislaus and St. Wenceslaus in Świdnica.
The group maintains a diverse repertoire, including sacred, patriotic, and occasional music, and provides musical accompaniment for major ceremonies within the Świdnica diocese.
