Tacuarembó housing cooperative inaugurates complex for 26 families

The housing cooperative CO. VI. EDÉN has inaugurated a new residential complex in Tacuarembó, Uruguay. Located at the intersection of Treinta y Tres and José Benelli streets, the project has allowed 26 families to receive the keys to their new apartments.

The completion of the complex follows several years of collective work, mutual aid, and organizational efforts by the cooperative members. The inauguration ceremony included local officials, including Secretary General Dr. José Omar Menéndez, deputies Maximiliano Campo and Gustavo Guerrero, and representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning.

In support of the project, the Intendencia de Tacuarembó announced that the General Directorate of Works has committed to completing pending road infrastructure in the surrounding neighborhood before the end of the year. This includes paving, curb installation, and other planned interventions.
