Tacuary, Fernando de la Mora, and 3 de Noviembre relegated to Primera B

Three football clubs, 3 de Noviembre, Fernando de la Mora, and Tacuary, have been relegated to the Primera B for the 2027 season following the 29th round of the Intermedia division.

3 de Noviembre, managed by Jorge Achucarro, secured relegation after a 2-0 away loss to Deportivo Santaní. Tacuary and Fernando de la Mora have also lost their chances to escape the relegation zone based on averages. Tacuary returns to the third tier after seven years, while Fernando de la Mora returns after 13 years.

In other news, Encarnación defeated General Caballero de Juan León Mallorquín 3-2, preventing the latter from earning promotion to the Copa de Primera. Encarnación remains in the second division but faces a decisive final match against 12 de Junio de Villa Hayes to secure their status.
