Tadej Pogačar to miss European Road Championships

Tadej Pogačar will not compete in the upcoming European Road Championships in Ljubljana, Slovenia, despite his name appearing on a preliminary entry list published by the Union Cycliste Européenne (UEC).

UAE Team Emirates clarified that the inclusion was due to an outdated pre-registration document from August, created before the rider's recent crash at La Vuelta. While Pogačar has begun light indoor training, his team maintains that his season is over as he focuses on recovery from injuries, including a broken collarbone and concussion.

The confusion caused by the UEC list briefly sparked speculation regarding a premature return to racing, but the team confirmed that his rehabilitation plan remains unchanged.
