Taekwon-Do Asociación Austral athletes secure podiums in Santiago del Estero

Fourteen martial artists from the Taekwon-Do Asociación Austral (TAA), representing Comodoro Rivadavia, achieved multiple podium finishes during the third Argentina Taekwon-Do Tour (ATT) NOA in Santiago del Estero.

The competition serves as a qualifying event for the 2028 ITF Taekwon-Do World Championship in Ireland. Participants competed to earn ranking points necessary for international qualification. The tournament featured over 300 competitors from various Argentine provinces, including Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Río Negro, Chaco, Corrientes, Misiones, and Chubut.

Additionally, the delegation noted that athlete Thiago Oyarzo is traveling to China and South Korea as part of a tour with the Argentine National Team. Professor Sergio Oyarzo highlighted the importance of the experience for the athletes as they prepare for upcoming competitions in Calamuchita, Córdoba, and Río Grande.
