Taekwondo athletes secure multiple medals in Indian competitions

Taekwondo athletes achieved notable success in recent regional and national competitions in India. At the Chenab Open Taekwondo Championship, the Indoor Taekwondo Academy secured the second runner-up trophy. The academy earned a total of 17 medals, consisting of eight gold, four silver, and five bronze awards.

In a separate event, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Taekwondo team competed in the 5th Indian Taekwondo Kyorugi National Championship held in Pune. The ten-member CISF contingent won five medals: two gold, one silver, and two bronze. Gold medalists included Kanishka in the Under-46 kg category and Saina Khan in the Under-62 kg category.
