Tafí del Valle to host international Asado a la Estaca tournament

Tafí del Valle will host the 3rd National and International Asado a la Estaca Tournament on Saturday, October 3, at the Complejo Democracia. The gastronomic competition features 55 teams, including participants from 16 Argentine provinces and representatives from ten different countries: Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela.

Competitors will vie for the Copa Luna Tucumana prize. The event, which runs from 8:00 to 20:00, was officially presented by local authorities and organizers Oscar González and Florencia Jerez. To mitigate the environmental impact of the firewood used during the cooking processes, organizers and government officials have scheduled a tree-planting activity the day before the tournament.
