Tafí Viejo mayor signs recycling and sustainability agreement

Alejandra Rodríguez, the mayor of Tafí Viejo, has signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement with Diagonal Citrus to promote environmental education and sustainable practices. The agreement focuses on improving waste management through coordinated systems for the separation, reuse, and reduction of waste.

Diagonal Citrus will provide technical and logistical assistance, including resources such as containers, signage, and educational materials. The partnership aims to foster responsible habits through awareness programs, training, and technical support. Company representative Esteban Ferraro noted that the agreement covers both organic and inorganic waste, following a period where the company transported significant volumes of inorganic waste and paper/cardboard during the export season.
