TAG Heuer announces limited edition Monza Flyback Chronograph
TAG Heuer has announced the release of the ‘TAG Heuer Monza Flyback Chronograph’, a limited edition timepiece celebrating the 50th anniversary of the original Monza model first introduced in 1976. The new collection pays tribute to the brand’s historical connection to motorsport, specifically honoring the era when Ferrari secured the drivers' title in 1975.
The limited edition is restricted to 500 numbered pieces worldwide. The watch features a 42mm cushion-shaped case constructed from forged carbon, a material chosen for its lightweight properties and impact resistance. The design incorporates a matte black dial with red accents, echoing the historical color signatures of the original racing-inspired models.
Technically, the timepiece is powered by the COSC-certified in-house automatic movement, Calibre TH20-12, which includes a flyback chronograph function. This mechanism allows for the rapid resetting and restarting of timing without interruption. The watch is paired with a black calfskin leather strap featuring red stitching and a titanium folding buckle.
