TAG Immobilien and JENOPTIK see mixed hedge‑fund sentiment as German shares rise

The German real‑estate firm TAG Immobilien attracted divergent moves from hedge funds this week. Marshall Wace reduced its net short position from 0.99% to 0.87%, while WorldQuant increased its short from 0.51% to 0.60%. The stock rose 3.22% to €13.79, putting pressure on short sellers. Other notable short sellers include Capital Fund Management (1.43%) and Citadel Advisors (0.60%).

In the high‑tech sector, JENOPTIK also drew attention from short sellers. Marshall Wace nudged its short up slightly from 0.49% to 0.50%, signalling continued scepticism despite a 1.68% price gain to €44.86. Capital Fund Management remains the largest short holder at 0.65%. Both companies are being closely monitored by institutional investors as the broader German market adjusts to a more favourable interest‑rate environment.
