Tagliacozzo hosts Catholic Youth summer camp

The Catholic Youth Action (Azione Cattolica dei Ragazzi) of the Avezzano Diocese concluded a summer training camp in Tagliacozzo. Held from August 9 to 13, the program was designed for youth aged 12 to 14.

Centered on the figure of Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati, the camp used his life as a model to guide participants through the Beatitudes. Activities included walking journeys inspired by Frassati’s “Tipi Loschi” group, serving as metaphors for spiritual and personal growth. The program emphasized themes of faith, community, and social attention toward vulnerable populations.
