Tahara’a site redevelopment remains under debate in Arue

The future of the Tahara’a site in Arue remains a subject of debate following a decentralized council of ministers. Discussions are centered on whether the site should be redeveloped into a new hotel to leverage its tourism potential or transformed into a public cultural park.

The Arue municipal council favors the creation of a cultural park on the four-hectare site to preserve traditional knowledge and historical heritage. To facilitate this, the municipality has requested that the territory purchase the land, which has an estimated value of 2 billion francs.
