Tahir Sarıkaya: Turkish TV Presenter’s Career and Personal Background

Tahir Sarıkaya was born on 15 December 1980 in the Şereflikoçhisar district of Ankara, Turkey. He graduated from the Faculty of Communication at Gazi University and began his journalism career in 2004 as a reporter for İhlas Haber Ajansı (İHA), later also working for TGRT.

In 2012 he moved to television, joining Beyaz TV where he hosts the weekend morning program "Uyan Türkiyem," which blends news, politics and social issues with his energetic commentary. Sarıkaya married businesswoman Rabia Arslan in a simple ceremony in Montenegro in September 2022; it is his second marriage.
