Content creator and author Tahsim Durgun is launching a new six-part comedy reportage titled ‘Deutschland, ich küss dein Herz’ (Germany, I Kiss Your Heart). In the series, Durgun travels across Germany with his aunt, Zeynep, visiting locations ranging from his hometown of Oldenburg to the far north and south, including a trip to Mallorca.

Durgun, a Grimme Online Award winner who gained fame through viral videos about German grammar and his experiences with Kurdish culture, discusses the project in a recent interview. The series will feature various encounters, including meeting a ‘community garden sheriff’ in Leipzig and participating in an acting course in Weimar with Edin Hasanovic.

The episodes are scheduled to air on ARD starting September 3, 2026.
