Tai Jiaren gains attention as intimacy coordinator for hit drama “Bright Spring”

Tai Jiaren, a Taiwanese actress, is gaining attention in China for her role as an intimacy coordinator on the popular romantic drama “Bright Spring”. The series has achieved significant success both domestically and internationally, maintaining high viewership on Youku and ranking second on Netflix’s global non-English television charts for two consecutive weeks.

“Bright Spring” is noted for its chemistry between lead actors Sun Tian and Xing Bai Ran. The production is recognized for featuring intimate scenes that audiences described as moving rather than vulgar. According to Macao Daily, this marks the first time a mainland Chinese television production has officially included an “intimacy coordinator” as part of its production process, and it is Tai Jiaren’s first such role in a mainland drama.
