Tai Lung Fung stage play concludes 21-show run

The stage play ‘Tai Lung Fung’ concluded its 21-show run with a final performance marked by a technical mishap. During the closing show, a door lock malfunctioned, temporarily trapping actor Xu Haochang (Feichang) inside a set piece.

Producer Zhang Jicong managed the situation by arranging for actors Liao Ziyu, Zhu Baiqian, Wu Bing, Xu Haochang, and Huang Ziqiao to re-perform the affected scene for the audience. The improvisation was met with applause and cheers.

Following the conclusion, cast members expressed emotional farewells. Liao Ziyu and He Jiali both shared tearful reflections on the three-month production process. Zhang Jicong also used the occasion to announce that One Cool Stage will release a new stage production titled ‘Rabbit Hole’ in January 2027.
