Tai Tuivasa joins American Top Team ahead of UFC 331

Australian heavyweight Tai Tuivasa has moved his training camp to American Top Team (ATT) in South Florida to prepare for his upcoming bout against Robelis Despaigne at UFC 331. The move comes as Tuivasa attempts to break a seven-fight losing streak, a skid that ties B.J. Penn for the second-longest in UFC history.

Tuivasa, who has not secured a victory since knocking out Derrick Lewis in February 2022, stated that he is focused on absorbing knowledge from the coaches and training partners at ATT. The fight is scheduled for September 19, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Tuivasa noted that he is working to improve his discipline and technical structure to face Despaigne, a Cuban fighter known for his knockout power.
