Tai Woffinden named in Moonfin Magnus Ostrovia lineup for Polonia Piła clash

British speedway rider Tai Woffinden has been selected by coach Tomasz Gapiński to ride for Moonfin Magnus Ostrovia in the upcoming league match against Polonia Piła. The decision comes after Woffinden recovered from rib and scapula injuries that kept him sidelined earlier in the season. Despite his low current scoring average of 1.417 points per heat, the coach opted to give him a place in the team, leaving fellow former world champion Chris Holder out of the lineup.

Woffinden's recent form has shown improvement, with solid performances in recent meetings in Łódź and a reverse match against Cellfast Wilki Krosno. Former rider Darcy Ward publicly advised Woffinden to ignore criticism and focus on enjoyment of racing. The match is expected to be contested in hot conditions, with temperatures nearing 40 °C, adding further challenge for both teams.
