Taichi Shiozaki discusses rebellious teenage years on TV Asahi

Taichi Shiozaki, a member of the group M!LK, appeared as a guest on the TV Asahi variety program ‘Otton ga Neta Ato ni’ to discuss his rebellious teenage years. During the broadcast, Shiozaki shared intense anecdotes from his adolescence, including an incident where he smashed his own mobile phone on the floor to prevent his mother from confiscating it.

Shiozaki reflected on the emotional turbulence he experienced between his third year of junior high and second year of high school. Despite his rebellious behavior toward his mother, he revealed that they maintain a strong bond. He noted that he continued to call her ‘Mama’ rather than ‘Okaasan’ due to her reaction when he once attempted to change his way of addressing her.

The episode also highlighted the support Shiozaki received from his mother during the early stages of his entertainment career while he was living in Wakayama Prefecture. A survey conducted with his mother revealed that she frequently cried while seeing him off at the airport, a detail Shiozaki had not previously known.
