Taichi Shiozaki to star in new TV Asahi drama ‘Mou Papa!’

Taichi Shiozaki, a member of the dance and vocal group M!LK, has been cast in a regular role for the upcoming TV Asahi drama ‘Mou Papa!’. This marks Shiozaki’s first regular appearance in a prime-time continuous drama series.

Set to premiere on October 4, the drama stars Nanoka Hara and Shinichi Tsutsumi. The story explores the complexities of family dynamics and the influence of social media, focusing on a father who turns his family’s daily life into entertainment and a daughter struggling to find her own identity.

Shiozaki will portray Toshiya Sasaki, also known as ‘Shunmax,’ a high-energy and popular video streamer. His character is a childhood friend of the protagonist, Noriko, and serves as one of her closest confidants. While appearing energetic on camera, the role involves navigating complex inner emotions and personal growth during a significant life transition.
