Slovenia GDP growth accelerates to 5% in Q2 2026
Slovenia's GDP grew by 5% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, an acceleration from the 3.2% growth recorded in the previous quarter.
Domestic expenditure rose by 5.9%, driven by a 12.3% increase in capital formation and a 4.0% rise in final consumption expenditure. The construction sector was a primary driver of value-added growth, increasing by 15.9%.
Trade activity also saw significant movement, with exports increasing by 6.4% and imports rising by 7.6%. For the first half of 2026, Slovenia's GDP showed a year-on-year growth of 4.1%.
